Larry Thornton is a self-made entrepreneur who has founded multiple software companies, all with significant market shares in the Check Processing and ATM Deposit market in many large banks in America and Europe. Larry developed strong business relationships with large public companies such as IBM, Unisys, and NCR Corporation to leverage their hardware platforms, software platforms, and customer relationships. Always looking for new challenges and to broaden his horizons, Larry began executive producing feature films and commercials. He is the president of Red Thread Pictures, LLC. For over 30 years, Larry had created unique products from scratch. He brought them to the market, partnered with some of the largest companies in the world, and now brings this same ingenuity to the world of film. In the summer of 2012 Larry became the executive producer of the highly anticipated home workout series “Lochte Hard-Core” for the 2012 Summer Olympics which starred eleven-time Olympic Gold medalist Ryan Lochte and his world-renowned trainer Matt Delancey. Additionally, Larry produced the fitness film The Burn Program for Weider Global Nutrition. In 2013 he executive produced the viral film ad “Love Worth Finding” for Love Worth Finding Ministries with Dr. Adrian Rogers. Compelling and contagious, this film ad quickly went viral around the world within 48 hours. Its powerful and timeless message has helped reshape and energize the ongoing efforts of Love Worth Finding Ministries. The attention from his ad for Love Worth Finding Ministries gave Larry the ability to also produce Christian short-film It Starts in Me. Larry also executive produced national TV advertisements for companies such as Bellevue Memphis, Brim’s Snack Foods, FTPS and more. Larry went on to be the executive producer of the feature film thriller Cassidy Way while also co-financing the film. Additionally, he orchestrated the distribution of the behind-the-scenes film The Making of Cassidy Way. With all of this and more under his belt already, Larry is quickly gaining momentum with seven new feature films that he is set to executive produce. Some of these films include: Heaven, which he wrote and will produce as well as Defenders, Soulmates, Heat on the Delta, and Murphy’s Creek, all of which will feature Larry Thornton as a producer.
